Bargaining Discussions
This is the place to discuss any topics related to recent bargaining events. Feel free to discuss the agreements related to furlough days, the move to VEBA, the Safety language being added to the contract, and any other issue related to bargaining.
The actions of this district and it's leadership should be made public, as in public, I mean the media! A watchdog group or something or that sort! Bob Leons involvement in the FBC should be investigated as it is a direct conflict of interest. Someone is getting paid with this whole insurance mess and it sure isn't the EUSD teachers! Thanks Phil for standing up for us! We are the EEEA! This whole mess just makes me sick! I heard Royce Moore's comment about the unification vote and to know that he lied does not surprise me in the least. I just wish that more people knew the real truth about what is going on with our district leadership and the shifty school board! Someone needs to investigate the goings on over there on Aldergrove!
Many EUSD teachers, parents and community members are growing VERY tired of the negative editorializing, half truths, conspiracy theories, and fear spin put out by EEEA. This organization loses credibility in this community daily.
Good to see we are going back to VEBA because self-insurance under the County Office of Ed. was a disaster for us. Also, cudos for holding the line on pay cuts and keeping furloughs to the minimum. Thanks for blocking merit pay schemes at Felicita and tying evals to test scores. It would set a dangerous precident.
